Located in Viboli, in the heart of Ponga Natural Park, this gorge is characterized by being wedged between limestone rock walls and by the imposing chutes that pour water into the river from the canyon’s edges. Access to the canyon, due to its privileged location, is restricted and only possible through active tourism companies that have the proper authorization from Ponga Natural Park. This, along with the complexity of the gorge, entails a higher cost than other lower-level descents. This is your canyon if you’re looking for thrills!

Viboli Gorge:
activity description
The Viboli gorge begins with a van ride of approximately 35 minutes from our activity base (Arriondas) to the canyon entry point, which is immediate. Once there, an exciting journey of between 3 and 3.5 hours awaits you where you’ll immerse yourself in horizontal sections that involve walking along the riverbed, sliding down natural slides, and making daring jumps. Additionally, one of the highlights of the route is a slide ideal for head-first descents and a jump from an impressive height of 6 meters.
On the other hand, canyoners will face more vertical sections in this descent, which include a total of 5 rappels, with heights varying between 8 and 24 meters, adding an additional level of challenge to this exciting adventure. Once the route is finished, our transport will be waiting for you after a short 15-minute walk to take you back to our base.
